I am primarily a stone sculptor, creating organic sculptures in alabaster and soapstone.  While my work is influenced by that of Jean Arp and Barbara Hepworth, my favourite artists include Theo Jansen, Project Blinkenlights, Matthew Barney, the more “mainstream” Charlie Kaufman.

Prior to 2010, I was heavily involved in arts-related activism.  More recently, I have switched gears and focused on specific projects to support the arts community, such as offering affordable web and print design through 2Picas and managing CultureBlast, an arts calendar for the Grand River Region.  And, because I get bored easily and like to keep up my business skills, I also work full-time as a business analyst.
